Based on Windermere, the largest of the Lakes in the Lake District, you couldn’t wish for a more stunning backdrop to your sailing area! Bowness splits the Lake into two distinct areas the Northern and the Southern basins, Ark Sailing is based in the Northern Basin at the iconic Langdale Chase Hotel. 

We “follow the Wind” to get the best out of your days sailing. It’s a great venue for all our RYA courses and a stunning place for a gentle sail around with family or friends or an evening cruise with a loved one.
